Staff Testimony

A young lady came to the Pregnancy Resource Center for a pregnancy test, when it was positive, she made it very clear to us that she was not ready to have a baby and was not financially able to care for it. She also said that the potential baby’s father was with another woman. After meeting with her, she felt like her only option was to have an abortion and was not open to adoption.

After trying to follow-up with her on several occasions, we finally lost contact with her.

Exactly one year later she walked in with her son who was about 3 months old. She said after she left that day, she was planning on having an abortion, but, she could not forget what we talked about with her, and because of that she decided to keep her baby. She said she came by to thank us and let us see her baby. She has since then been coming for our Earn While You Learn program. Staff
